Christmas Cheo Project

Christmas Cheo Project
This holiday season, the EF4A class turned old, dusty ceramic tiles into a beautiful present for CHEO!
On December 2nd, Ms. Goodier's EF4A class decorated individual back splash tiles using sharpie markers and rubbing alcohol to create a unique effect.  Everyone did such a wonderful job decorating their tiles, and the class was so pleased to hear that this project would be going to the CHEO office in Kanata, where daily programming for children on the Autism Spectrum takes place.
After applying sparkly mod-podge to the tiles, all 52 separate pieces of art were assembled on a frame to form a Christmas tree pattern. The class seemed very impressed to see how their individual art work created one impressive masterpiece!
The gift was presented to the staff at the CHEO office on Beaverbrook in Kanata on December 17th. They were so impressed with the gift, and knew instantly where to showcase it.
CHEO staff have presented the EF4A class with a special CHEO Hero certificate, which recognizes their kindness and generosity! Congratulations EF4A - this gift will have such a positive impact on many!
